Links you didn't have to declare. Shape-rotators often sense connections without articulating them. The tool should surface candidate links from context — not stop you to name each one. Proactive surfacing, not search. Search asks you to know what you're looking for. A real second brain volunteers. Start writing about distributed consensus and last year's Raft notes should appear — not wait for you to remember they exist. Not against the wordcels None of this argues against Zettelkasten or careful linking. If [[ ]] syntax feels like an extension of your mind, you already have your tool. This is for the other audience. The people who tried Obsidian, accumulated 400 orphan notes, and quietly went back to a whiteboard. The people who've been told they need better discipline — when what they need is a tool that doesn't punish them for thinking in the wrong format. Shape-rotators deserve better.
